About SongSimilar

SongSimilar is a free similar song finder. Enter one track you love and get a ranked list of songs that sound like it, each with a match score and links to YouTube, Spotify and Amazon Music.

Where the data comes from

Similarity is based on listening behaviour: when many of the people who play one song also play another, the two are scored as similar. We use the Last.fm and Deezer APIs for this, and MusicBrainz for release information. When a song has few direct matches, we fall back to similar artists and their most popular tracks, and mark those results with an asterisk.

Accounts

You don't need an account to use the finder. Signing in only adds one thing: your favorites are saved to your account and follow you across devices. Without an account they stay in your browser.
